Culture consistency – keep behavior consistent with the norms of the given social culture, eg don’t try to make your Windows game behave like a Mac game

Genre consistency – keep behavior in your product the same as other products in the same genre, eg in an FPS use the same keys as other FPS’s (wasd keys for movement)
